Company History
Scottsdale Properties has maintained a position in Boulders real estate and development community since 1985. Originally, Scottsdale Properties was formed as a real estate company to facilitate sales and acquisitions for its sister company, Scottsdale Homes. In the late 1990s Scottsdale Homes co-developed Iris Hollow creating one of Boulders first New Urbanism communities emphasizing affordability through creative design and planning. Other development projects took Scottsdale Homes in the direction of commercial development thus forming a new entity, Scottsdale Building and Design a/k/a Scottsdale Commercial. Such commercial projects included LaVista Business Park near Niwot, Millennium Plaza in Lafayette, and flex buildings in the Colorado Tech Center.
